October Photography // A Compilation

What a lovely month! Step into it with me and take a look at the best of what I could capture.

My brother prefers to sculpt his pumpkins.

Monthly Compilation and Update - May 2017

Since I just started this blog this month, these pictures include but are not limited to photos I took during the month of May.

One of my top favorites in this post ↑

While watching a lecture of a photography video course this month, I learned a useful tip. High exposure can lead to blasting out of details, so it can be beneficial to lower the exposure. As a result, I edited the picture of the bunny so that said bunny would not be washed out from the sunlight.

Another one of my faves ↑

I probably should have lowered the exposure/brightness on this one too ↑

That was a lot! :)

And some update-like info that you might like to know...

Into June, there will be a some minor changes. I will continue posting on Tuesday and Saturday because that has worked well. Like this week, the last week of the month will have two or possibly three posts on the last two/three days. These will be compilations. Also, I think I'm going to start naming posts to reflect the content more. The song lyrics were fun, but I think this will be a good change.

I think that's it! So...

Which of the photos from this month's compilation did you like best?

Monthly Bird Sightings - May 2017

In addition to a monthly compilation post (which will be up tomorrow), I would also like to a do a post on the birds I have photographed and seen each month.

This Brewers Blackbird was hard to shoot! He didn't stay still for very long. I hope to get a better picture of him in the future, luckily he has distinct song that I will listen for. I shot this photo when he was fluffing his feathers just before he flew off.

A lovely little male California Quail. Isn't he cute?

This is an American Robin that hangs around.

Little House Sparrow.
